BLADE

Blade was born out the idea that synths should have more human input. Nearly all synths follow the same suit of including preset waveforms, and modulating them with the mouse using dials.

Blade has no preset waveforms, in fact, you create your own using the Harmolator. This oscillator gives you 9 controls which allow you to change the harmonic content, down to the partials of the waveform.

The Harmolator allows oscillator spreading, fattening the sound and also square / sine wave sub-oscillator. What's more, the sound can be modified further by the 21 per-voice distortions types and 14 filter types.

Blade offers total control of the sound over time using an array of different modulation controls, most significantly, the central XY screen. Here you can alter your chosen parameters to modulate using the mouse to drag the nodes around the XY pad, or use the keyboard to do so. The best part is you can record these movements, and play them back automatically. It can be looped, and even react to tempo.

Added to this are more effects, a staple of Rob Papen products, and an arp/sequencer.
